Ashwood Dental Surgery is located at Suite 4, 330 High Street, Ashburton, VIC 3147, within the Ashburton Medical Suites. We’re close to Chadstone and Glen Iris, a 15-minute walk from Ashburton train station on the Alamein line and on-site parking is available for patients driving in.
What are the opening hours for Ashwood Dental?
Ashwood Dental is open 9:00am – 5:30pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. On Tuesday and Thursday we’re open 9:00am-6:30pm. We’re open Saturday 8:30am – 12:30pm and available by appointment on Sunday. Feel free to use our online booking system or give us a call on 03 9885 2712 to book today.
Are same-day or Saturday dental appointments available?
Yes. We offer Saturday morning appointments and Sunday appointments by request. If you’re dealing with a dental emergency and can’t find a same-day slot through our online booking system, please call us directly on 03 9885 2712.
Do you see children of all Ages?
Yes! We see children of all ages at Ashwood Dental Surgery and the best time for a child’s first visit is earlier than many parents may think. When your child’s first tooth pokes through, or they turn one year old, you should make an appointment. For your child to have good oral health, they need regular check-ups, every six months at least.
Do you offer Payment Plans for Dental Treatment?
We offer a number of payment options. We believe in accessible dentistry for all patients, and want to make our services financially manageable. We offer both Afterpay and DentiCare so you can budget and pay for the treatments you need, through a payment plan that suits you.
We accept all major health funds being preferred providers for NIB and HCF. For children’s dentistry we also work with the Child Dental Benefit Schedule (CDBS).
What is the process for getting an appointment?

If you have an emergency and can’t see a same-day appointment available online, please call us on 03 9885 2712 as we may be able to fit you into an after-hours appointment.
What can I expect during my first appointment with Ashwood Dental?
Your first visit includes a comprehensive dental examination, an oral hygiene scale and clean, fluoride treatment and x-rays if clinically required. We currently offer this as a $219 new patient appointment for those without private health insurance. Throughout the visit, our dentist will talk you through their findings and any recommended next steps.
